I am going to miss this type of shoot so much when I retire. I loved the trip north to the farm, the farm was eye candy for a photographer and I love this shot of them with a bit of the barn in the background. I appreciate the opportunity to do this engagement shoot, even though I won’t be doing the wedding.
Sleepy Little Peanut
A great way to calm down a baby is with a hair blower. Makes them sleepy and so easy to work with. I love yawns!
Snow Day
It is always nice when it is warm enough to shoot outside in the winter. The light on the truck adds an element of interest to this portrait.
Corporate Dream
Having an attractive office is key to great corporate shots. This office never disappoints, I am always able to find a fresh perspective for each employee.
Pony Dreams
Riding off in his dreams, this little sweetheart is laying a soft pony prop. Love the balloons.
New Parents
We waited and waited for the sun to set and it was so worth it - the light was lovely and they were so happy!
Sunset Profile
I loved her profile and the sunset was so intense, I decided to go for the silhouette. It is a bit bold in color, but I love it! I think it captures that moment before you become a mom forever.
Autumn Beauty
A beautiful mom to be, a lovely fall day and warm sunlight!
Fairy Grandmother and her Coachman
What silly fun is this! Their grandkids keep telling her she should be a fairy godmother and here she is!
Wee Cowboy
They also had a hat and the picture with the hat, baby and boots is the best, but I am saving that for them. I loved these old boots.
Sometimes You Just Have To Follow
There is a certain age that you have no control over - when they run you just have to follow! I had to do it when she was a toddler and the baby brother is no different!
Grad 22 Keeps on Giving
I love this bench beneath the Broadway Bridge - a nice change from all the standing poses. Her dress was almost liquid in its texture. It was stunning.
Pretty in Pink
Her dress and hair were just perfect for the slight breeze. I did add some color to the sky. Loving this shot!
Rainy Day
It was pouring rain and 1.5 hours away from here, so I had no choice but to shoot in the rain. I have these lovely, clear umbrellas for just that purpose. I have photographed each of these girls as toddlers. More on that later! Here they are, celebrating their grandparents 50th.
This Face
This face was meant for the camera. Glam!
Sunkissed
I love that her dress matched my flower beds!
Radio Flyer
Most babies would have been displeased with laying their head on the edge of a wagon, but it did not phase him one bit. He does look like we are interrupting his downtime though!
Beauty in the Garden
She wanted flowers and I was so pleased that the garden had started to bloom. This is a sunlit, backlit beauty!
Two Years Old and All That Means!
Full of attitude and energy, a bundle of cuteness! This was the last shot! I got some great ones, but this was just so sweet for an end shot.
A Bit of Drama
This elegant dress had it all, pockets, sparkle and shine. I thought this dark, wall paper background really showed it off.
